No. Zopasu. 1008/C.R.143(1)/Slum-1 - in excerise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1A) of section 35 of the Maharashtra Slum Areas (Improvement, Clearance and Redevelopment) Act, 1971 (Mah. XXVIII of 1971), read with the Maharashtra Slum Areas (Improvement, Clearance and Redevelopment) (Grievance Redressal Committee) Rules, 2017, the Government of Maharashtra hereby constitutes the Apex Grievance Redressal Committee and Grievance Redressal Committees specified in column (2) of the Schedule appended hereto consisting of the Chairperson and Members as specified against them in the columns (3) thereof, for the area respectively specified against them in column (4) thereof, and scope of the committee specified against them in column (5) thereof, for the purposes of sub-section (1A) of the said section 35.

(e) Additional Commissioner of MMRDA so authorised by the Commissioner MMRDA - Member

All the areas of SRA in the State established under section 3(A) of the Maharashtra Slum Areas (Improvement, Clearance and Redevelopment) Act, 1971. (a) Appeal against all orders of CEO, SRA or orders issued on behalf of CEO, SRA by any officer, who has been delegated powers by CEO, SRA under Maharashtra Slum Areas(Improvement, Clearance and Redevelopment) Act, 1971 and respective Development Control Regulation.

(b) Any issue referred by State Government by executive orders.

(c) Any issue referred by Hon. High Court or Hon. Supreme Court

(d) The issues not specifically assigned to other GRCs.

(e) Administrative control and coordination over functioning of other GRCs so notified by the State Government from time to time.
