In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1)(A) of section 3C of the Maharashtra Slum Areas Improvement, Clearance and Redevelopment Act, 1971 (Mah. XXXVI of 1971), read with the Maharashtra Slum Areas Improvement, Clearance and Redevelopment (Redevelopment Scheme) Rules, 2017, the Government of Maharashtra hereby constitutes the Apex Grievance Redressal Committee and Grievance Redressal Committees.
These Committees shall consist of such number of Chairperson and Members as specified, to receive and dispose of complaints from affected persons, for the areas respectively specified and within the scope defined for the purposes of sub-section (1)(A) of the said Act.
